Lasagna Roll-Ups

Lasagna is (and always has been) a well-loved classic. But making it, with all its layers, is never an easy task. When I discovered Lasagna Roll-Ups in the Pinterest world about a year ago, it became a way to enjoy the classic without it’s complicated prep. Ever since then, I’ve been trying and enjoying different variations. Hope you’ll try this easy and delicious meal!

Cast of Characters

  • 9 Lasagna Noodles
  • 8 oz Ricotta
  • 3/4 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • Scant 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 jar Sauce
  • Salt
  • Fresh Basil


Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once water is boiling, throw in your lasagna noodles.


Cook according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, combine ricotta, parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup shredded mozz, egg, basil, and salt into a dish.  *Other times I’ve made this dish, I’ve included cubed chicken and/or sauce in the actual roll-up. There are tons of variations to this recipe out there!*


Spread sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.


Once noodles are cooked, drain and allow to cool.


Lay out your lasagna noodles and evenly divide your filling mixture amongst them.


Roll up your noodles and place seam side down in the baking dish.


Cover with the remaining sauce and shredded mozz.


Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes.


Enjoy alongside some salad or Italian bread!
